Give my one year old warm water with a squeeze of lemon and a little honey? He's got a cold and i usually have the adult hot version myself, with a huge measure of whisky and it certainly does the trick!

honey under one year, due to bacterial infection called botulism that can kill infants!

i think its a year. sugar helps with replenishing white blood cells which you need to fight infection, lemon has vit c in, good for cold and the warm water warms you up better than some of the cold remedies available
