Yes, I have it! Also hyave 3 lovely dd's, 1st 2 through medical help & 3rd a great surprise!
I also think PCOS makes me depressed due to hormonal imbalances - what about you?

i had my last baby 9 months ago by c section, and when they checked everything ovaries womb etc all was healthy and clear, but when periods returned they were very heavy, painful when ovulating and sooo hormonal so they sent me for a scan and one ovary is full of cysts and the other ovary is showing signs of the start of pcos, they also said that if i had waited to start a family i would have found it very difficult to pg and most probably unlikely i am only 25 so i am so relieved that i started at 19 but now just have to go on some hormone treatment to start feeling a bit more human again, do you get very spotty

from what i have read PCOS affects the blood sugar so low GI work well, not too low fat because that will adversly affect the moob. but i do think the key is exercise by a mile. when i can't exercise i can feel depression creeping up and is so much worst with PMT, also a lot more painful

collette harris wrote a good book on the subject

the mood even (not moob)

I have had it for 20 years - still managed to conceive two babies naturally though! Wasn't ovulating regualarly before first pregnancy, had just had a 40 day cycle and then somehow conceived in the next cycle. It was a nightmare dating the pregnancy though and the scans were all contradictory about due dates. Second pregnanncy I conceived within a month of stopping the pill. I'd been taking Dianette to control the symptoms (worked up to a pointm but did nothing for the excesshair). The GP had told me that there's a window after stopping the pill where I would ovulate more regularly. The PCOS goes during pregnancy but has always come back afterwards. I now take Yasmin (another BCP) which is better in terms of mood-swings but I am 3 stone overweight and can never manage to lose any weight. The GI diet definitely helps to regulate your moods and stop you getting depressed, but I've never managed to lose weight on it.
