Does this look like skin cancer? (With photo)

I've noticed this on my mums neck this morning. I had noticed it a bit a while back but it's def got worse. Obviously I will be taking Her to the doctor to have a look at it as soon as possible. I've googled images but nothing looks like this. She does have a history of cancer, and had a mastectomy a couple of years ago. Could it have spread to here? It's on her neck the same side as she had the cancer.

wouldn't like to say - but best go to the GP to get it checked. Hope it is all OK.

I always think with skin it's best to get it looked at. Partly because it's so easy compared to something internal! So for peace of mind I'd say same as previous poster -GP

What they said.

It could be this?

or a form of this which appears to be unsightly but harmless

Given her medical history I'd get her checked out. I've never heard of breast cancer generating skin cancer except around the actual breast area where the cancer moves outwards if that makes sense.

I hope she's ok. Best of luck. Flowers

Good luck to your mum at the doctor.

When looking at moles always keep the following in mind and get them checked by a medical professional if anything seems off: Moles ABCDE

Thank you and thanks for the links treadsoftly, I wouldsay it looks more like the top one but without that weird black bulbous bit . I think I might have the second one! I will try and get her to see gp next week , difficult as glare is carer for my dad so doesn't spend much time worrying about her own health which frankly is not great anyway. Thank you.

Without the big black bit [which I presume is the more serious bit] then while it might be melanoma, it says it's slow growing. My Dad has had 4-5 basal types removed from various spots without needing other treatment so fingers crossed it can be treated quickly and easily if it is a type of skin cancer.
Dr Google is well scary though - I'm off to get my skin checked asap after working my way through 56 pics

Best to get it checked at the Drs as pp have said.

My Dad has had skin cancer recently- both malignant melanoma and Basal Cell.

Both looked completely different and after treatment and surgery, thankfully all is ok.

Hope that it's all ok for your Mum. Best of luck
