What is this pain under my ribs?

It's under my ribs on the right side, like a dull ache. Also a feeling a bit like a tight band of pressure under my ribs and a full feeling despite not eating much.

Comes and goes, but has been pretty constant today. Is it stomach related?

Gallstones I'd say!

I get this every so often too, especially after big nights out involving lots of food and wine!

Agree, gallstones.

Eek. Tell me about gallstones please. What do i need to do? Does it require a trip to the GP or can I self manage?

Gremlin I've not had a drink for ages for about 2 weeks, and not eating as much as usual either due to the pain and fullness.

Hi,
I am going through something similar but a bit further on in my testing. My pain was specifically a dull ache under my right rib which I noticed mid January. The GP referred me for an ultrasound for gallstones but something has shown up on my liver. Try no to worry I am sure yours will show up as just being gallstones. I'm no further on at the moment and currently waiting to see a Liver specialist/MRI scan.

The ultrasound is the same one used for baby scans. They use gel to scan your abdomen.

I Can't help more in relation to gallstones because I actually don't have them x
