Could the anti malaria drug chloroquine and proguanal be causing DH to behave differently

DH has been taking above for 4 weeks for a 2 week business trip to India. It's like he has had a personality change. Very short tempered seems not to listen to anyone and is generally detached from me and the Dc's. Its very out of character. Anyone had any experience?

Thanks fabulous. It's quite scarey. It's like he had been brain washed and everything is making him angry which us very out if character. I will contact GP on Monday.
