I have allergies but am fairly reluctant to take antihistamines after the dementia related scare and even if that weren't a factor they don't help much. I have itchy arms, legs and back. I have small itchy little scabs occasionally too. I have been to the doctor who sends me off with antihistamines and steroid creams both or which I don't like taking and as said aren't effective. I moisturize quite frequently and my skin being dry isn't really the issue. Has anybody had this problem and tried something that was helpful?
