Ok to go to work with strep a throat infection?

Hi I caught this it seems from DD and am now starting antibiotics.
When she had it GP said no nursery for at least 24 hours after starting the antibs.

GP wasn't clear how contagious this is and didn't say stay home - but wanted to check as I can work from home if absolutely necessary as dont want to spread anything!
Of course I should have asked him but didn't think.

Probably best to stay at home. You could always ring your local pharmacist & ask.
