OUCH! Sore tongue.

My tongue is really sore. It also looks alarming. It's speckled green and red and the red bits are really swollen and sore. Eating is really painful. I've had this for about four days now.

Two of my ds's have had something similar and my dd seems to be starting it.

What is it?

I had something like that a few months ago, very sore and generally swollen tongue with greenish pustule things. I can't remember what my other symptoms were, but I was miserable for a while and then it went away. I don't think it lasted more than a week. I think it must have been viral because after I got better I heard about other people who'd had it (at my work and dh's work).

I hope you all feel much better soon.

Thanks bran.

I'll slink off to bed then. I've been putting it off because I'll have to clean my teeth and that's going to hurt.

Take painkillers, that's what they're for. If you can't swallow pills and you don't have dissolveable then raid the kids Calpol. I hope you sleep well.
