Went in Tuesday night, op on Wednesday afternoon (within an hour of them deciding what was wrong with me!), home tonight. Very tired and weak, just off to bed in a mo

Yes, I'm really glad they didn't just say "well you don't tick all the boxes so it can't be appendicitis" - they said, "well it could be and since you are two hours from the nearest hospital then let's have it out now". I have a very neat scar too.

Marina - your package did come on Saturday!! Dh had forgotten to check the post and it was there this morning for us (we don't have a letterbox, it gets delivered into an old chest of drawers )
