I have above mentioned polyp and will have it removed next week under local.
I searched on here and only found it mentioned with GA.
Please tell me the local with be ok, I really dislike GA and the doc thought nothing of it. Is it agony?

I had one removed but under GA, so prob not much help! I was told that in 50% of cases (with just local) they have to abandon and call you back to do it under GA .... sorry to be negative but I have a low pain threshold and struggle with smears so prob not the best person to ak Wink

Thanks socks, I didn't know that, but will definitely try under local, I don't really struggle with smears (had one today) but I cannot take anti-inflammatories after to numb the pain.
