Last night me and DP dtd. Immediately after I had stomach cramps and an hour later diarrhoea.
Tonight we dtd. Immediately after I had very sharp stomach cramps. I ran straight to the toilet and couldn't wee. I suddenly then had agonising pains on my left sort of inside the hip bone area.
The pain was immense I was writhing on the floor. Couldn't catch my breath, boiling hot and very nauseous.
This went on for 5 minutes then stopped completely. I'm fine, just tired.
What happened? Any ideas?.

It's a sign that you're having too much sex Wink

Phoenixfrights · 28/01/2015 20:02

Please get checked out properly. Could be nothing but could be ectopic or something awry in the ovary area.

gointothewoods · 28/01/2015 20:04

Could be a cyst. May have burst just now?

defineme · 28/01/2015 20:05

I had that and possible suggestions were twisted ovary, gallstones, left intampon., urine infection.allsorts but definitely needed dr. In my case itwas twisted ovary.

gaggiagirl · 28/01/2015 20:06

agent AF is due tomorrow so it was kind of a last minute binge before I'm surfing the crimson wave for a week.

But I will get it checked out yes Phoenix it was scary.

Twisted ovary Shock did they fix it for you define?

Phoenixfrights · 28/01/2015 20:09

Ah ok.. Possibly a luteal cyst that has ruptured. But yes do get checked out.

jellypi3 · 28/01/2015 20:45

honeysucklejasmine · 28/01/2015 23:05

Ouch!

ghostinthecanvas · 28/01/2015 23:09

Oooft. You could have endometriosis without symptoms til now? GP asap. Hope you do get seen tomorrow.

gaggiagirl · 29/01/2015 22:26

Just to update everyone.
I poas. Bfp.
Is it going to be ectopic? I'm prepared for it.
I shamefully didn't go to the docs today since I felt all better Blush

Phoenixfrights · 29/01/2015 22:29

Whoa! Congratulations. I would get checked out tomorrow though. THey'll probably send you to the early pregnancy unit for a scan. I would imagine if it was an ectopic pregnancy the pain would not just have gone away like that. But I am not a doctor so don't take my word for it.

LastNightADJSavedMyLife · 29/01/2015 22:29

Firstly congratulations! Secondly could it be wind? When I was first pregnant with all of mine the wind combined with ligaments stretching was agonising.

firstposts · 29/01/2015 22:32

Ectopics can be very dangerous, so definitely best get it checked. I would ring 111 tonight and prepare for a trip to a and e if they advise it. Good luck.

Phoenixfrights · 29/01/2015 22:34

Actually... is this your first missed period, or would it have been your second missed one? Are you sure you are very newly pregnant is what I mean or could the last one have been a scanty bit of implantation bleeding.

I would ring 111 for some advice actually on second thoughts. Especially if there's a chance you could be 8 rather than 4 weeks pregnant.

gaggiagirl · 29/01/2015 22:36

Thank you so much everyone! Yes I think I should pull my socks up and get seen.
last it wasn't wind, good Lord the trapped wind I had with DD was so painful! I hope it didn't last long for you!

gaggiagirl · 29/01/2015 22:39

Phoenix definitely 4 weeks. Last period was 26 days ago and was as normal pretty heavy and lasted a week. Bfp is very faint.

Definitely go to your GP in the morning. Ectopics can present in odd ways and not necessarily with constant pain. If you feel like you might be being fobbed off, ask to have blood tests done, then repeated in 48 hours to see if your HCG level is doubling. If you have severe pain, bleeding, vomiting, or pain right in the tip of your shoulder please go to A and E straight away - they won't think you are making a fuss. Have a look at the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust website for more info.

Phoenixfrights · 29/01/2015 22:49

Still, best to ring 111 although I imagine you'll be dispatched to A and E.

But would they be able to see anything on ultrasound at such an early stage? Hopefully someone who knows more will be along while you wait on the phone to 111 ;)

gaggiagirl · 29/01/2015 22:55

If I get the slightest twinge I promise you all I'll go in. I happen to work in a hospital with a great a&e. I'm at work 8-6 tomorrow so I really couldn't be in a better place tomorrow.
No shoulder pain thank goodness.
