My dh went for his second appointment at the cancer centre today. His form of chronic lymphocytic leukemia is the 'better' of the two. Not only that, but his white cell count hadn't gone up since the last visit, but had fallen. Instead of seeing him in 2 months the doctor thinks that three months will be fine as he doen't seem to be progressing. So that hugh sigh of relief that you heard at 12.30 was me.

Many, many thanks to all my friends on Mumsnet who sent best wishes, good thoughts, positive vibes, prayers etc. Keep them coming, they are doing some good

I've got a lot of information from Bacup, who were very helpful the last time that dh had cancer. Tbh, he doesn't have any symptoms at the moment, so we don't need support. And I might be more worried by seeing the symptoms that we might get one day Iyswim. But I know what is there, and I know that we can tap into it as we need it.

But mumsnet is great support
