Ganglion cyst on finger - should I go to GP or leave for a while??

At least I'm guessing that's what it is. It's on my middle finger, top joint and seems to be getting bigger.. It feels quite hard, but fluid filled. Will it just go on its own, or should I head to GP?

I had mine injected with steroids as mine did not go away. Definitely see your gp.

DD had one on her wrist but the doctor advised leaving it as he thought that draining it might increase the chances of it reappearing in the future. It took nearly 6 months to go but stayed at a steady size most of the time.

If yours is getting bigger or is uncomfortable it's probably worth getting checked out.

Thanks - it doesn't hurt and if there's a chance it might go away I think I might wait a while. If it gets bigger I'll sort out a GP appt.
