I'm laid up in bed again (3rd time in 5 weeks). High temp, achy, general bug. I've al young non sleeping baby and a three year old germ carrier but I have never been ill so much ever. Besides adoption what can I do/take to get through the winter?

Poor you. I have a 4 year old and 6 mth old. We all take a probiotic daily. Optibac are a good company and I take one for daily immunity with added vitamin c and my boys both have a sachet specifically for babies and children each morning with breakfast. Can't recommend them enough. Really hope that you feel better x

Sympathy munchkin as I'm the same. Had on and off cold virus since October now and think it's down to my DD starting in nursery. Ended up going to see my GP today as have come down with it again and can't seem to shake it off. I've been given some antibiotics as they think it's a bacterial infection that's lingered. It might be worth a trip to doctors. I'd also second optibac probiotics as well as echinacea and sambucol...not that they've a&e any difference so far but I live in hope!

had not a&e!
