Most off dd's nursery class off with this 'bug'!

dd has what the doc has said are chicken pox(she also had them last oct?), terrible barking cough and cold..rang teacher to say she would still not be in today and she said some got sent home yesterday and more had rang to say they wouldnt be in(well there parents rang!)
dd was up half night crying that her mouth was hurting?? and cough sounds terrible

Have a look down her throat, some kids say their mouth is hurting when they mean a sore throat. It does sound like chicken pox to me. But it might just be the virus ds1 has got, which is a horrible cough that has triggered his asthma for the first time since Feb!

doc checked her throat yest, but i know from experience that she can be okay one day and full blown throat infection next!..what am i looking for? redness??

swelling, redness, yukky bits on the surface of the tonsils.
