Corn plasters - from Boots or any high street chemist

TortUREoiseChamber · 18/10/2006 22:50

Ive had them. In between my little toe and the next toe.Believe they are soft corns there!
I used a liquid corn remover by scholl and round corn plasters.

MacdogOnElmStreet · 18/10/2006 22:58

i've used soft 'corn wraps' which are sort of gel tubes you put over your toe to soften the corn.
i also use a chiropody sponge to 'scuff' it away

They are painful aren't they! I had one on each foot. Not easy to get your foot in a good position to apply the liquid and plaster!

Go to a chiropodist and have it taken off. I had mine done and would never go back to using those horrible plasters. I found they could be painful, especially when one slipped and 'dissolved' the wrong bit of skin, plus it's a lot of faffing about.

I went in to the chiropodist feeling very worried with 2 painful corns (I'm a big coward and a friend had mentioned scalpels), and came out half an hour later pain-free and with all the nasty rough skin taken off my feet as well. Bliss!
