I watched this and wondered who is letting their children have this as my DD has her appointment on the 31st and new baby will be in line for it too....

Any thoughts for and against???????

My 19 month old daughter died from Pneumococcal meningitis in April 2005, others on here have also lost children or have children damaged by this disease i strongly recommend your children have this vaccine.

I watched this programme with tears streaming down my face!! poor little Oscar seeing him on the life support machine was like looking at Freya it was totally heartbreaking and brought back some terrible memories.
His parents where so brave to talk about his death on TV i could see the pain in their faces when they described how Oscar died in their arms.
This is such a devestating disease which has wrecked so many lives and this lifesaving vaccine is long overdue.
