Have been suffering with various wandering pains and random nerve sensations for about 8 months now and am so fed up. It started with a random pain in the middle of my right foot which would come and go. Then started getting pains in my hands and thought was carpal tunnel or something. Over the weeks pains moved all over my body and regularly got nerve tingles and muscle twitches as well. Also get eye pain and oral pain- lips, roof of mouth, tongue. By this point I was really anxious and broke down at GPs. Was told it was all stress related as blood tests didn't really show anything. Pushed for lots of testing- deficiencies etc but all normal. Saw a neurologist who said it was not a neuro issue and thought I should see rheumatologist. Rheumatologist thinks it's post viral and these things take 6 months- 2 yrs to go. Anyone had anything similar? Am aware similarities to fibromyalgia but haven't got the tender points and don't have fatigue.
