Sorry, another embarrassing mooncup question...

OK I've got one and just started using it. Finding it really good generally. Co-incidentally my periods recently (before starting to use) seem to have got quite heavy. Does anyone else find that when they empty it everything seems to kind of cling to the bottom of the toilet bowl and refuse to flush away? Bit embarrassing at other people's houses or public loos.

Yeah - put loo roll down toilet before you empty it. If hand basin in same room flush loo after washing hands as well as before - just to make sure

Yep - this sure is another embarrassing mooncup question!

Seriously, JC, I dont use 'em, but I did used to notice the effect you described in the days when I used pads and did most of my bleeding straight into the loo. Have you tried double flushing?

CarolinahowlingattheMoon · 18/10/2006 17:15

yes, 'fraid so.

Flush again and poke about with the bog brush if there is one.

JiminyCricket · 18/10/2006 17:22

Aha not just me then. Will try the loo roll tip. Ta!
