I suffered terribly when I was young, for the first 12 hours of my period I would need strong pain killers and if I didn't take them early enough would end up pacing about like (as I now know) I was in labour.
After Dc the pain stopped completely and I didn't really have any pain for c. 10 years.
Then the pain started to return. Mild at first but now at a similar level as before, only now it lasts 3 days! Is this normal? I'm 45 and the actual bleeding is unchanged.
