72 babies died within 20 days of receiving GSK Infanrix hexa Vaccine

72 babies died within 20 days of receiving GSK Infanrix hexa Vaccine.
They reported that the deaths of these children were due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Sudden Unexpected Death Syndrome (SUDS) unrelated vaccination. WHAT??? What cant

Infanrix hexa combines vaccines against 6 diseases [namely Diptheria, Tetanus and Acelluar Pertusis (whooping cough), Hepatitis B, inactivated Poliomyelitis and Haemophilus influenza type B] in a single vaccine.

Why arent we informed of problems

Sorry, on mobile, read Medoc's reply as Sophie's. Think Medoc and I are on same page here Grin. Thoughts still stand though. Except I'd add Sophie's clearly young, time to learn....

andersonsophie89 · 18/01/2015 02:06

BlackbirdOnTheWire - We were always told vaccines are safe and not to worry. Your right we cant have it both ways. So why arent we told it is and to worry, or look into vaccine, just like they tell us to do with water births/ car seats/ prams etc... Vaccines cant be safe and unsafe. So why are we told it is? That is what I am asking. Why arent we being told?

There is no scientifically proven link between Vaccinations and autism.
Linky here

If you don't want to be scared then don't read the propaganda of the tin foil hat wearing brigade Hmm

Medoc · 18/01/2015 02:07

Ha blackbird - your post popped in between hers and mine Grin
My DD with autism can actually write more fluently and form a more cohesive argument than the OP. And she's 9.

LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:10

Sophie, who are "THEY"
What are they telling you to do?
have you discussed this with anyone in RL
No one can "make" you. It's ok. Breathe. Calm down.

LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:11

Worried about car seats?
Walk
Worried about prams?
Wrap.
Water birth?... What???

Medoc · 18/01/2015 02:12

OP- I wasn't told vaccines were safe. The risks and side effects were clearly explained by the nurse giving vaccinations.
But as blackbird said, you weigh up those risks vs debilitating diseases.

andersonsophie89 · 18/01/2015 02:18

Medoc, I am happy to hear that you were told to weigh things up. But we wasnt.

I use to pay for vaccines, and use to think of people who didnt were uneducated/ stupid and reckless. I only came to that conclusion, because that is what I have been told. I never once questioned it. When people say to me, in my country we dont vaccinate against this or that, I use to think, thank God I live in this country. To me, when I heard they dont vaccinate against this and that, it was almost like saying to me, they dont have access to clean water. I have changed doctors 5 times from what I can remember and each of these surgeries I was not told once of the risk or given the vaccine insert to read before getting the shot.

Medoc - nice of you to try cyber bullying already. I might not write so well, but I have a IQ of 124. I did that test recently at uni, as I have learning difficulties.

OP posts:
andersonsophie89 · 18/01/2015 02:23

Just because you might write in nice structured sentence means, does not make you better than me. When all I am asking is why arent we being told.

OP posts:
andersonsophie89 · 18/01/2015 02:26

LedditGo - What I am referring to is, we all spend time researching on car seats/ water births / prams etc.. finding out the risk and benefits, but we arent told that vaccines have a risk and that we should do our own research before making the decision. Instead what we are being told is to get the vaccine. It is safe and there is nothing to worry. To me this is part of a lie and wrong.

OP posts:
LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:28

If I had 124 I wouldn't brag. Sorry.

What cyber bullying?

All the potential side affects are explained and readily available. They really really are. NHS online will provide you with the details of every childhood jab at the touch of a button so parents can read up and be informed before going to their medical practitioner. You just need to ask or look for it which as a "well educated" person, you of course would have done.

Medoc · 18/01/2015 02:32

Cyber bullying? Really?
where are you that you have to pay for vaccinations? The setup in England is completely different.

LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:33

So hold on.
You researched car seats, prams, water births which all have to meet a certain standard to be sold in the UK but not the inoculations that every child in the uk is offered free of charge?

Ok.

That's your choice but I don't understand your point. There is no scientifically proven link between the inoculations we give our children and various "conditions"

Are you saying that all inoculations should be withdrawn? Because trust me if your child develops mumps you are going to know about it. Or measles, or rubella. Should we allow children to die of totally preventable diseases because there's speculation about the vaccination?

andersonsophie89 · 18/01/2015 02:36

LedditGo- Im not bragging. Medoc made a nasty comment comparing me my writing skills to a 9 years old to either discredit me. Or make me embarrassed so that I will shut up. If either or them, simply to have a laugh. Whatever it is, it is not nice. I am simply saying here is my IQ core, I am not dumbo. I mgiht struggle to communte them, but I am more than capable of computing the info I am given.

OP posts:
Medoc · 18/01/2015 02:43

What about all the babies that die from contaminated formula? Should we ban formula?

If by cyberbullying you mean me saying 'how very dare you're

  1. how very dare you is a MN saying
  2. I was expressing outrage at you patronising and pitying me because DD1 has autism Her autism wasn't caused by her vax. I really don't believe that. She is who she is.
Medoc · 18/01/2015 02:46

X-post.
I too was stating a fact. She writes more coherently than you do.

LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:50

Sophie. All the information is there for the taking.

I really don't understand your point.

You opened this thread with incorrect information masqueraded as "fact"

You linked to the tin foil hat brigade and their "anti vaccine" sites which is not ever going to provide clear and balanced information.

You are saying that people should be made aware of the risks of vaccination.

But they are.

LedditGo · 18/01/2015 02:53

Fair point regarding the contaminated formula Medoc

What about plastic bags however? Despite the holes they are still lethal
Or the chords on blinds?

What should we ban?

Gosh, I totally agree with you and am disgusted at level of argument here. Anything at all questioning vaccination is the tin foil hat brigade. What way of discussing something that is important to all of us is that?

As for Medoc, first you say that you didn't vaccinate the rest of your children because your first had autism and then you are extremely rude when the OP sympathises with you. So if autism is so great, why didn't you vaccinate the rest of your children? And neither I nor the OP are saying anything against your child with autism, I am sure that child is very special, but I am also sure that it is not easy for them to live with that condition.

butterfliesinmytummy · 18/01/2015 03:53

My dd had the infanrix hexa vaccinations 6 years ago in Singapore. It's a routine jab, everyone has it.
