MRI scan for poss MS - really worried

I'm having this at the end of the week to try to get to the bottom of my numb hand and foot, and blurry vision. I'm sure they'll tell me I've got MS. I'm terrified to go, and wish I could have it right know just to find out. Has anyone had the test and/or been diagnosed?

Thanks for all your wonderfully supportives messages. They have made me feel more positive.

The increased med seem to be really helping. It doesn't kill all the odd sensations but it makes them tolerable. DH is home to look after DS so I can flake and that's helping a load.

Jampots. I cut out all products containg nutrasweet (Aspartame) about 6 years ago when I realise I could time a flare up to within 2 hrs of injesting the stuff. It's affects are horrendous, it's in foodstuffs you would not belive(yohurt, crisps!) and I havea feelin your suspicions have a basis in reality.

Emstots...Not that you need to hear this but those symptoms are very similars to ones I get (feeling like 1 limb has been borrowed from the michelin man?) Not painful on the whole, just odd and not good? That sounds like neuropathic pain and it would be good to mention in to the doctor. *It does not mean that it is MS, loads of things might cause that.

I have got my appointment through from the neurologist but its not until 25th jan next yearso more waiting
