I have one on my eyelid. I wonder if there is a home remedy that anyone's tried with any success?

I have tied string around one and it fell off, although that was on my armpit not my eyelid! Hurt like hell too

AuditAngel · 30/12/2014 18:42

I have a bad one on my eyelid too.

For one in my armpit, I got a good hold and just yanked! Not keen on raking the same approach with the eye one

Watching with interest as i have them on my neck

AuditAngel · 30/12/2014 18:43

I have also previously used nail clippers.....

I had one on my chest and the doctor tied thread round it saying it would shrivel up and die, actually it came off in his hand! I've one on my neck but I'm too squeamish to do the same!

Wombat22 · 30/12/2014 18:45

Doctor can freeze them off in their surgery (not sure about eyes) My relative tied string round his (on his neck) and they fell off in days.

iwantgin · 30/12/2014 18:47

I've been known to take a razor blade to them before now.

Not sure about on my eyelid though!

toffeelolly · 30/12/2014 22:03

Tie dental floss around it as tight so you can feel it. And about 5 to 7 days it will fall off. Had one under my arm 6 months ago and tried this after reading it and it worked. Good luck.

dementedma · 30/12/2014 22:10

I would try this but mine is on my face. Think better get doc to do it.

mawinter · 31/12/2014 21:18

I pull and twist the little buggers and then rip them off. :D

My DH was referred to the eye clinic for one on his eyelid, I wouldn't do DIY on it, go and see your GP
