Squint in adult

I've a squint since I was a child. My mum did nothing about it. My squint is not that bad, no one comment on it, apart from the opticians and my children. If I relax my eyes can aligned together. The more self conscious I feel, the more my eyes turn. I asked the optician for eye exercise but she said there is nothing that can be done to correct the squint now. Have anyone tried eye exercises that help?

I had surgery to correct a squint at 29

Not all squints can be corrected surgically but there's no harm asking your GP for a referral
