Have you bashed it at all? (I know, silly question!)

Can you feel a spot there? Its a very common place to get ingrowing hairs and blocked pores which can lead to small abcesses. These often form a head and burst but in a small minority of cases need to be drained.

Can you see it in the mirror? Or can dp or someone look at if for you?

mine. its a deep dimple at the top of the butt crease lol. dh says it looks red. havent bashed it at all, but have had feelings of pressure pushing down on my back for a few weeks. this feels more skin sore than muscle sore though.

dab of hydrocortsone? shouldnt do any harm shoud it?

btw, dh didnt know i had this till this evening, you;d think after almost 9years he'd know alll of my creased [pmsl]

i wouldn't have had a clue what that was, I would say a dab of hydrocotythingy wouldn't harm

hmm I am new to Mumsnet and have a question regarding sacral dimples. I have three sons two of them have sacral dimples. I have been told by family it is linked to spina bifida. The docters say not to worry about it I have healthy children but I am worried if I wish to have another baby in the future is there a chance my next baby could have spina bifida?
