care package has been approved and social worker is lookign at several local agencies, but I'd like to review them before one is selected.

Any ideas where I go for an independant review - in the Clifton/Silverdale area of Nottingham

www.cqc.org.uk/

Also you can have the budget paid to you and you employ the carers .Many authorities are v keen to go that way and many will guide you through the process and ( if this makes sense ) will let you contract the work out to them .

Age UK have all the advice www.ageuk.org.uk/home-and-care/help-at-home/

personal budgets www.ageuk.org.uk/home-and-care/help-at-home/self-directed-support/

good luck
