I'm so sorry to hear this you must be totally knackered. Has his hand calmed down? He may well be having an allergic reaction.
It was totally unacceptable to send you home without the new antibiotics being reconstituted what if you hadn't been able to get to a chemist to do this for you (angry)
When ds is better you should complain.
Hope your night isn't too dreadfull will post in the morning to see how you are.

Don't be put off by crap care given in A+E because he is over the age of one he will see an A+E dr not a paediatric dr unless A+E dr refers. If you did not see a paed dr and if you do need to go back if things worsen INSIST on seeing a paed dr as they are the best qualified the A+E SHO's are only on a 6 month rotation in A+E and believe me the standard does vary alot. You have probably been unlucky in who you saw.

LL I am totally disgusted with your local A+E how sick does a child have to be to get some attention. The 4 hr rule is the curse of alot of A+E's but pts can go over time if clinically unwell.
As you say they seem more interested in getting rid of you. Is there another hospital you can go to?
Thinking of you as I stand here watching the ambulances roll in wishing it was morning.
