teething - rash and the rest...

My 8 month old keeps itching back of her head and its hot. She has 2 teeth, so is in process of teething, but is this a symptom or is it something else...also sleeping badly and snotty - arrggggghhhhhhhh

my dd is also teething and has an itchy back of head.
I've put it down to her temperature being slightly up due to teething
i've been using 'Vasogen' cream to soothe it(barrier cream with calamine lotion)which seems to help a bit, and a half dose of Calpol if she's not settling at night
