Sore tongue with little lumps round the edge

Does anyone know what this could be - have had it for a couple of days now. Tongue feels burnt at the tip and round the edge are small lumps - soft, not hard to touch, not white / red or anything - it looks almost frilly!

i think heat/closer call this "cornish pasty" tongue.

drink more water

Heat?? Errr... do they offer medical advice now? Have to say that I find that a tad worrying!

Have been drinking loads of water recently as have been a bit run down and have been trying to detox a bit.

no they dont offer medical advice - its when they snap a celeb with ridges round their tongue.

actually i currently have a sore mouth with little blisters on the back of my tongue but then i have been ladling cinnamon onto my brekkie which is suspect is the culprit.

Still sore with tiny white spots now.

Anyone had this?

Perhaps it's oral thrush.

Not sure it is that - DD had it once and it doesn't look like that. These are really tiny and sore. They don't come off.

Your local pharmacist might have an idea.
