by not breast feeding I mean not breast fed for nearly 15 years! no babies here. just teens.

Roger, I can't help you personally as haven't yet had surgery (am currently going through chemo for breast cancer, but having op in the new year), but I'm wondering if it would be an idea to pop onto the tamoxigang thread?

Although it is a cancer related support thread there are lots of us on there who have had breast surgery and might be able to give you some practical tips on how to manage everything
