Very embarrassing, but what do your insides feel like?

Really don't want to ask this but for years I've been worried something doesn't quite feel right. I don't want to be too descriptive but do normal vaginal walls feel the same all the way round? Or is the front wall different?

Thanks to anyone who feels like they can respond.

The front wall (as in nearest to your urethra) inside should have a sort of ridged area, which feels different to the rest. It feels different at different times of the month ime.

Not a medical expert but lesbian here and happy to help. It depends what you mean exactly. If you mean texture it's pretty much all the same (ie there shouldn't be any lumps or bumps), but the front wall is firmer and a more convex shape.

Does this image help?

I would say though, if you're a bit worried it's probably worth making an appointment with a nurse for them to check. I'm sure they won't mind just putting your mind at ease.

Thank you. My front wall feels as if there is some kind of extra bit of flesh stuck there. It doesn't feel the same as the rest. This bit of flesh goes about 3cm up and is about a cm across. But it's difficult to feel around! I am completely clueless about what is normal and don't want to google.

Go to doc. Probably nothing but for piece of mind. Could be a prolapse.

Notdoingalot · 19/11/2014 23:28

Thank you. I think I will see the GP.

I dont mind googling it for you but I think it's better to go and get it checked out. It'll be easier for them to see what's going on!

Are you sure it's not your cervix? Vaginal walls feel like the insides of your cheeks, cervix feels more like nose cartilege.

a more convex shape is a good way of describing the front wall, yes Smile but mine seems uniform all the way up, pretty much.

I find there can sometimes be a small area of the front wall which has a slightly different texture, during arousal.

I'm afraid google would be my first port of call but I see its not your preferred choice. Trying to think of suitable search terms so I can do it for you!

DarylDixonsDarlin · 19/11/2014 23:42

If its been the same size/shape for years and not caused.any symptoms that would reassure me, personally Smile

Well I've had a quick google trying to use medical terms and will definitely see the GP.it doesn't feel like cheeks or cartilege, more like fatty raw steak! Thanks for the google offers :)
