Ongoing pain in lower right abdomen

For almost a year I've had a pain in my right lower abdomen which sometimes extends into my leg. I've seen the doctor when I first had it and they thought it might be grumbling appendix, then I had gastroentritus and they thought it was that. I was pregnant at the time with dd2 and am still bfing so could be linked to that. My periods haven't come back yet either. Has anyone else had similar? Any ideas welcome!

Have you had any abdominal surgery?

Yes, two c-section (one emcs and one elcs) and one gall bladder removal (keyhole).

I had this after surgery for ectopic where they removed my tube. it was scar tissue that had adhered my ovary to my abdominal wall....I lived like it for about3 years then went to gp who got new a laparoscopy sorted.....

Agreed, scar tissue is the most likely cause with any abdominal surgery (esp higher in women). Based on what you say, you have it like I had, where it was attached in my abdominal wall to my leg. It constantly caused issues like you describe. After another laparoscopy the symptoms ceased.

Urinary tract infections can sometimes cause pain which extends into the upper leg. I would think you would have other symptoms as well though.
