My nearly three year old's stammer is now so bad we have decided to see a speech and language therapist privately - can anyone recommend one? Ideally SE or central london.

Cannot recommend any your way but jsut to let you knw they can be very expensive so if you have priavte helath care try and get it done on that.

For our youngest we were paying £58 per two hours . He was having weekly sessions then. But they were very good and we all learnt more from them in two weeks than a NHS SALT in 5 months !

Good luck

resigned to doing it as we are so worried about him, we do have private cover but having read it it looks like they will not pay for developmnental problems

no joy with NHS then ?

been looking into it and now may go for nhs the michael palin centre who specialise in it advise getting referred to them and they deal with children who stammer - they are a tertiary centre apparently and say that the private ones don't always specialise in stammering and children

but if anyone knows of someone who does this please let me know
