I'm fairly new to all this and have the same prob as Jenny. I often post on a thread and it gets totally ignored and becomes the last of the thread - like you are kind of invisible. I guess it's just a 'time/no. of posts' thing but I am hoping to have some 'friends' one day as I think MN is great! ....

jennypog, i'm not going to ignore you . i only joined in july but dont really feel new, due to the the sheer volume of posts that i make. i think that there is quite alot of banter on MN tht its easdy to feel left out of if you dont post much.

as far as being ignored, though, i think one can get ignored on very chatty threads, unless you've been around for ages. however, as a new comer, i had far more interest in discussing real issues. i've never been ignored threads which actually have a purpose , beyond mindless chat!
