Chicken Pox Vaccination

Anybody had their dc done?
Any after effects?

Seriously thinking about having dd done as I had it SO badly as a child and with Chicken pox season rapidly approaching....

DD had it last year (we wereliving in Chicago at the time anditis part of the pre school vaccination programe). SHe had no after effects at all. Mind you she neve has with any of the vaccinations. I am determined to hunt it out for ds to have next year before he starts nursery. Do you have to do it privately?

Yes have to have it done privately-decided to have it done in the end.
Am pleased if it means she never has to have two weeks of scrathcing/scabbing and feeling crap.
