Have I OD'd on HRT? Would appreciate a pharmacist's opinion

I've just discovered three HRT patches on me. I'm certain that I've been putting them on on the correct days, but obviously have not remembered to take them off! I have no idea for how long two of these have been on me.

Logic tells me that each patch only has enough HRT for 4 days, so I can't have had more than 2days' extra HRT per fortnight. Not enough to worry about.

But am I right?

You can't OD on HRT really- all that would happen might be some side effects for a short while.
The patches have a lifespan- that's why they are changed twice a week. The ones that are now old will be empty- all the content would have been absorbed.
Are you putting them on in different places? Why not put the patch on the same place each time?
