Enciphilitis(sp?)experiences, advice? and prayers please [sad]

An ex-relative of mine has a nine week old baby, just diagnosed with this. He's in hospital, sedated and very poorly. I need to know what will/may happen. Have read up on Google and am now scared for him. No symptons, just choked and stopped breathing. They ruled out meningitis, toxoplasaemia(sp) and other things but he did have the classic sympton of a raised fontanelle. Prayers for this little one please and any experience/advice?

so sorry to hear this jollymum,I have no experience of this but do know that they can work miracles with drugs in neuro to reduce the pressure in the brain.I hope he recovers soon.

Sounds like he is in the best place possible. You must feel pretty helpless but children can be incredibly resilient and you just have to pray for him. Nothing else you can do except be supportive. Lots and lots of prayers for him xxx
