Has anyone ever received treatment for low blood pressure?

I have had dizziness on standing for years. It makes me feel so worn out. Every time I get out of bed or off the sofa the world goes black and I have to wait for it to pass.
I know the usual advice of caffine and salt etc. If I have to get out of bed at night I get up slowly and have to stand at the top of the stairs for it to pass other wise I would fall down the stairs.
I am on anti depressants which I know won't help but they keep me sane.
Anyone received treatment for this please. Am aware of POTS and have done the test where you stand up and take your pulse and my pulse does rise. TIA

Not had treatment but wanted to offer a bit of hand holding. My blood pressure is usually a little low but was really low with dc1. Spent almost the whole of the 9 months in bed.

Hope you get some more posters soon Thanks

Yes. I take 25mg of midrodine x3 times a day (it's only got a short life so have to take every four hours). I tested positive on tilt table test for vasovagal syncope not pots as my heart rate didn't go up, just had a massive bp drop, and passed out after only 8 minutes. The only side effects I have are a tingly scalp which I barely notice now. It's made a massive difference to my energy levels, and feel so much better on it.
