ache in what I think might be left ovary

...this is the last thing I need this week as I have lots of work things on...but since Saturday I have had an ache on my left side - maybe around the ovary area...my periods are erratic since the birth of ds but to be fair I'm 42 and was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve at 35 and told I had very few eggs left...so lets say menopause is possibly on the cards. It was a miracle i had ds

Last night I had to take ibuprofen to sleep... is it a cysts maybe... my last period was 4 weeks ago but I haven't seen any signs of ovulation (and usually I do 2 weeks before i af shows) and cycles vary from 15 to 90 days...
ideas welcome

I kept getting pain (like when I ovulated) where my left ovary was and after a scan a cyst was discovered however when I saw a specialist he said it was irritable bowel, apparently constipation can cause pain in that area. Meds for IBS have helped so might be worth getting it checked out if your bowel movements are erratic?

Interesting I have been eating badly ( working late so grabbing crap food) and have felt a bit constipated so I might try some prunes etc
