I'm so glad to hear you went ahead with it. It takes a lot of courage to do and I admire you for having done it. I'm not sure if I would have been able to in your place. Have you ever considered talking to someone about what happened, I mean maybe a therapist or someone you really trust? I can imagine there is a lot of pain and fear inside you which might need to come out.
