Where can I get a flu vaccine for my 7yo DD?

I've tried Asda & Tesco but they only offer them to over 16s. Does anyone know of anywhere that offers flu vaccinations for children?

My dd2 is 10, they're all getting the nasal spray vaccine in school. Is that just in this area?

DS is 2.5 yrs and I received a letter from GP offering the nasal flu vaccine so just booked him in for it in a few weeks time. I think all children under a certain age are offered it, appreciate you DD is older but maybe try GP.

My GP only offers the vaccine to 2, 3 & 4yos so my 4yo DD2 should be getting a letter soon but I can't find anywhere to get my 7yo DD1 vaccinated

IME you need a private gp to vaccinate children. Pharmacies don't tend to want to run the risk ( insurance issue?).

An independent pharmacy gave my then six year old the vaccine two years ago- pharmacist had done the training but it took me six pharmacies to find one that could do it so keep trying, it is possible.

When I looked into this a couple of years ago my dd was 10 & Boots pharmacy said they would do it but I had to get a prescription via GP first as she was under 16

Ask your GP if you can pay for it. Mine does free jabs for anyone in the criteria and will write prescriptions for people who don't get the free one so you pay the prescription charge.
