Oh my goodness my KNEES are so painful.

Any ideas? The last few days but mainly at night, I can't even sleep as they hurt to roll over or bend.

I'm doing some physical work at the moment but nothing that involves an inordinate amount of knee use Hmm just some painting and a bit of woodwork etc.

I've nevr had painful knees before. It's both of them, and I'm 41 and otherwise fairly normal healthwise.

Any thoughts appreciated as have zero time to go to GP and they would laugh and say rest and take paracetamol anyway, I imagine.

Are my lower legs going to fall off?

no, but you need to go to the GP and ask for a physio referral. You may find that exercises to pull kneecaps into place help.

you just have to keep doing the exercises. And so do I.

Oh gosh exercise? Sad Oh dear. I have a history of non compliance with that.

Thank you. All good wishes to your knees.

Try ibuprofen which can be alternated with paracetamol. The gel one is excellent. Do your knees feel hot? Mine occasionally get inflamed and I just have to rest them a lot (not exercise...)

Thank you. No, they don't feel hot - have been googling and I don't think there is any infection. They were better last night, not so bad (I took paracetamol before bed) but it is still v hard to get up from crouching position etc.

They both hurt but one keeps clicking like something is out of alignment?

Occurred to me that we currently have no stairs and are going to a house with two flights which means a lot more leg work than normal and also I've been wearing my work boots which are heavy and slightly too big.

I think it may be a combination of these factors, hope so anyway.

I'm sorry to hear I'm not alone - who knew knees could hurt like that? Flowers
