Can anyone give advice re diet and hiatus hernia?

My mum, age 84, has just been told she has a hiatus (sp?) hernia also there's a problem with the lining of her stomach.

Can anybody suggest best foods to eat for hernia? I know we need to avoid anything acidic and fatty.

Avoid tomatoes onions citrus pastry cheese milk yoghurt otherwise most foods are fair game

Green foods are good and alkaline

Also swap your cooking fat to coconut oil and your flour to almond or gram flour

Do you know if skimmed milk is OK?
