Ive just started doing the Davina workout at home. There are about 10 different types of sit ups to target different areas of the stomach, but the only thing it seems to hurt is my neck!! What am I doing wrong??>

multitasker · 26/09/2006 09:57

Is 20 enough to make a difference? Anyway I can suck my belly in - I can't do anything much for my ass, well maybe I should just get off it now and take dd2 for quick walk I'll have a think about it.....

speedymama · 26/09/2006 09:58

Cindy, it takes time to build up strength in muscles that you are not using so give it time. You could try supporting your neck with your hand but it is important that you do not pull on your neck in order not to give yourself a strain.

I have been lazy wrt to tummy exercise (I use to do about 200 crunches, cycles, leg lifts!). I will do 50 crunches this evening to kick start my exercise regime.
