Took dd3 to be weighed a fortnight ago, purely to appease grandparents (why do they need to know??) and HV (quite nice really) got a bit bothered as dd (16 weeks) has dropped from 95th centile at birth to below the 50th, asked about feeding patterns etc. I told her I wasn't worried as she looks chubby and healthy and that the charts are misleading. She asked if I would come and have her weighed again (tomorrow)and I agreed.

Anyway...I got home and printed off the new WHO charts, and lo and behold, the only difference is that dd is exactly on the 50th instead of below.

I know that if she has dropped again, HV will want to discuss things...I don't want to ignore any real, or potential problems, but dd just seems fine to me. Any experience or advice?

Hm, tbh, it's not all that uncommon for children to drop of their charts or go up on them....and as you say that your lil one is a chubby Baby and healthy and happy, I relly would say that there is nothing wrong.
In the end, you don't have to take you child to a HV fullstop and you don't have to act on any advice given neither...obviously there are times when the advice should be followed, but you will know yourself if that is the case
Hope all goes well!
My ms dropped from the Birthcentile...but it never was a problem...as he is growing...he started off on the 75th and then dropped between 25-50 percentile...

Thank you, I usually come across to her as someone who doesn't trust any govenment advice, and I don't want her to think that I am ignoring her concerns simply because I'm often quite awkward.

I know I don't have to see her, but I have a good relationship with her, and have never avoided her despite our differences of opinion.

It's nice to know dd3 isn't the only one falling off her centiles!

My dd did something similar - went from 50th to 25th, and the HV had me in a panic about nothing. She looked fine, was fine, and still is fine 2 years+ later! I bet she won't have dropped again, though..
