I became so short of breath last wednesday (10 days ago) night that I couldnt lie down or sleep. It was awful.

I felt short of breath still st work on thursday so made an emergency gp appointmen for friday.

I had a blood test and had raised esr and slightly raised crp

I had an ok weekend with sympto,s easing slightly, however getting worse from monday.

From wednesday I was so sob that I couldnt eat my dinner.

I went back to my gp who prescribed anti inflams and amoxicillin. I had a chest xray that looks fine.

I now have bad abdo pain, nausea, loss of appetite, constant wretching and belching and feel very weak, along with sob.

I feelmlike im about to die or go into septic shock.

I may also add that I went to ed this week when my breathing was bad, they told me there was nothi g they could do as obs normal....

My obs have always been normal, sats 99, chest flear, normal bp. My gp wants to send me to hospital as he is unsure what it is but says they wont admit me.

My abdo pai and bad nausea has got alot worse in 24 hours, im constantly wretching and cant face food.

Any ideas?

My gp has booked me in on monday morning with repeat bloods on tuesday, he is concerned. However I just want to know whats wrong with me.

My only option is to represent at a and e

Call your out of hours doctor. It sounds awful. X

redspottydress · 20/09/2014 09:37

Yes. Go to a and E!

CleanLinesSharpEdges · 20/09/2014 09:37

A&E.

lucjam · 20/09/2014 09:40

A&E now. Don't leave until you know what is what, your obs might be normal but clearly you don't feel normal. Go go go.

MissMilbanke · 20/09/2014 10:06

Sounds awful. I don't know what to suggest but not eating and drinking will make you feel weak and hurt your tummy as it shrinks. Can you face even a little something ?

skyofdiamonds · 20/09/2014 10:09

Yesterday I managed half a tin of soup and the only thi g I fzncied was soinach. So I got my oh to go to the shop and buy a bag of spinach, which I had boiled.

Weird food craving.

Im drinking ok, except the constant wretching.
I just wish whatever it is will pass. I was meant to be goingto spain on thursday, theres no way thats happening.

The only thing that struck me about your op was the shortness of breath. I always get that when I'm anaemic.

concernedaboutheboy · 20/09/2014 10:39

Have you had an ecg?

concernedaboutheboy · 20/09/2014 10:41

Could be gallstones?

sunbathe · 20/09/2014 10:41

Anyway, in your shoes I'd go to A and E. It sounds awful and I hope you feel better soon.

skyofdiamonds · 20/09/2014 10:52

Nothing in bloods to show anaemia, wish it was :(

Think im going to have to go there

Asthma, adult onset or viral induced? Did they hear a wheeze at all? Have they tried salbutamol to see if it helps?

Angina

Gastro symptoms could be a reaction to the anti-biotics.

GERD? Gastroesophageal reflux disease.

I think you need urgent further investigation, go back to A&E. They need to look deeper at the pattern of your symptoms.

Nextchapterabouttostart · 20/09/2014 11:39

Sounds like gallbladder problems? Stones? Sludge? Infection?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 11:42

Could be pancreatitis?

giraffescantboogie · 20/09/2014 12:40

Not sure but I feel like shit just now too so just coming to add some sympathy.

I thought gallstones or something too.

FelicityBennett · 20/09/2014 16:14

Could it be Addison's disease? Can't link on iPad but look at the crisis symptoms
