chicken pox

my 3.5 year old has chicken pox. He's itching so much and I don't know what else to try. So far I've given him piriton syrup and calamine in aqueous cream. Any other suggestions??? He's so upset!

oatmeal bath? be careful with the piriton as it can make kids hyper. if it doesnt have the desired effect 2night, then see the gp tomorrow for a stronger anti-histimine

Have a look at the other chickenpox threads. Use Bicarb of Soda in the bath. Make sure you cut his nails short! I kept dd dosed up on Calpol too for about 4 days.
