Still losing hair after birth! Help, how long will this last?

My hair started falling out when I stopped breastfeeding in January, my daughter was six months old. I thought it would have stopped by now, she's over a year old! From what I have read, it should have stopped by now. How long did yours last?

I've had blood work done and my thyroid and iron are fine.

It usually stabilises after a year. After DS it did. After my 11 year old DD 3 mths after the birth my hair started falling out. It has never stopped. I had another baby 2 years later but my hair has continued to fall out. I was initially diagnosed with Chronic Telogen Effluvium. I had scalp biopsies done & was diagnosed with Androgenic Alopecia. I tried various meds that have a blocking effect on the Androgens but had to stop due to side effects.
It may stabilise but best to get your bloods test. Thyroid problems & low iron can cause hair loss.
