Molluscum warts ... another question

Does anyone have any experience of their child's molluscum disappearing but without going through the bursting/bleeding bit of the cycle first? DD1's is spectacularly messy but they are finally going (HOORAY!) but I'm wondering whether DD2's could just go down and go away without all that ... or maybe that's just in my dreams!

One of my DDs has this badly for about six months. Then I read that tea tree oil was effective and after applying it neat once a day it disappeared within a week.

Did the bumps literally just disappear or did they go through a process of looking like a septic spot and then bleeding, crusting over and eventually dropping off (apologies to anyone who may be eating at this time!)?

Also, do you use an ear bud or some such thing to get the tea tree oil onto the individual molloscum (would take me an age - even DD2's got quite a lot of the horrid little things), as I think it's quite strong stuff isn't it or am I muddling it with something else?

hi, all mine have had it ds1 first. his were around for six months then spread rapidly and got worse then popped ect and cleared up fine. Dd2 only had 3 or 4 and hers just disappeared without popping. Dd1 has had them for 18 months they pop and bleed but are still there i'm going to try the tea-tree next week !
