Sore lump at top of inner thigh

Really painful - am limping a bit. It's about the size of a medium sized marble.

No head on it, put a hot flannel on it and tried to squeeze anyway. There's a tiny pin prick area that a very tiny amount of clear (but greenish) fluid oozed out.

Never had anything like this before - any ideas?

Sounds like some sort of cyst type thing. I'd get to the GP asap and get them to look at it. It sounds painful!

It is! Walking like a cowboy today! Thanks for advice. Typical that it's come right before term starts which means fannying about getting an appointment I can go to Grin

I had one of those, it sounds like a Bartolins cyst (sp). I needed antibiotics.

Oh bum. Will get on to phone to doctor's on Monday Sad

Bartolins cyst is on your fanjo. On the outer lips. Not on your thigh.

OP: mag sulph? A sterile needle? Please post a photo!

DoctorLawn · 30/08/2014 15:25

I stuck a needle in it yesterday
It hurt a lot and a tiny tiny amount of blood and pus came out - was very disappointed.

I can't get the angle right for a photo Sad
